I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Credit) from the University of Otago in 2010 and briefly worked in Wellington, before returning home to Auckland, I have been in a private practice in Pakuranga for the past 8 years, as a lead dentist. I moved to Auckland from Taiwan when i was 9 years old and I am a St Kents’ Old Boy.I’m fluent in Mandarin and English, New Zealand style!

I enjoy building a trusting and harmonious relationship with my patients, and always take the time to get to know my patients’ individual needs. I am relaxed and calm in my approach, and I like to make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. I am committed to oral disease prevention, with a focus on comfort and longevity. My favourite part of dentistry is making teeth look and feel good as new using tooth-coloured materials. I also enjoy endodontics (root canal treatment) and restoring dental implants to replace missing teeth. I have come to know that dentistry is learning journey, and I am committed to continue to refine my skills as a clinician by attending conferences in New Zealand and abroad.

Outside of dentistry, I keep myself busy! I own a small specialty coffee shop on Karangahape Road, with a focus on serving excellent coffee in a calm and beautiful environment. I enjoy keeping fit and play basketball competitively in local leagues and national tournaments.
